Marc de Maar wins Gold at Pan American Games

The champion of Curacao Marc de Maar represented his country at the cycling event during the Pan American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico. In the road race De Maar started as one of the favourites for the golden medal. In the finale De Maar confirmed his role as major contender and went on his way to the Pan American golden medal. A great performance of the Quick-Step rider, who ends his cycling season 2011 in a very nice way.
