LEFTFIELD trailblazed their unique sound in the early ‘90s and took John Lydon back to the top of the charts. The band whose debut album ‘Leftism’ became a modern classic, was also voted one of the greatest albums of all time by Q magazine. A band whose follow-up album ‘Rhythm & Stealth’ went to number 1, spawned the techno anthem ‘Phat Planet’, and that Guinness advert with the horses. Revealed as the loudest band EVER to play Brixton Academy, Leftfield’s show made such a seismic impact that it remains the benchmark for live electronic music to this day. Leftfield can take recognition for inspiring some of the world’s biggest dance acts, including The Prodigy, Chemical Brothers and Underworld, and also Sasha, who acclaims Leftfield as “writing the commandments on electronic music”. Since a return to performing in 2010, Leftfield have successful toured the UK as well as playing major festivals in Europe, the US and Australia.
