The Targets join SEG Music
SEG is excited to announce a brand new project with The Targets and their manager Jim de Whalley. This 3 piece Mod Punk from Winsford, Cheshire, is steeped in attitude, with their sound on stage having been described as a force of nature by people on both sides of the Atlantic!
Jim de Whalley said: “The bands DIY mentality has served them well over the last 8 years, but it can only get you so far. We hope the skills and experience of SEG Music will help build on this foundation and progress their career exponentially.”
Formed at the ripe young age of 12 the band have spent the last 8 years honing their sound into what some describe as a force of nature on stage. Think The Jam... Think The Clash... Think Thin Lizzy... Their sound is totally unconnected to modern “rock” music whilst still having the potential to appeal to the masses on both sides of the Atlantic.
Marc Marot, CEO SEG UK, said: ''John and I are delighted to Welcome Jim and the Targets into the fold. This band is full of life and energy, with songs to match... lets hope we can keep up!''
