Goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen, who is known amongst football lovers as one of the best keepers of the Netherlands, is the new face of the this week launched fall campaign of clothing brand Girav.
In this brand campaign, Cillessen can be seen on diverse channels of the brand, like on social media and in the brand-new fall magazine of Girav, that will be published soon.
Last summer, Cillessen returned to the old nest at NEC in his hometown of Nijmegen. He already played football there until 2011, after which he kept the balls out of the goals at top clubs Ajax, FC Barcelona and Valencia. Next to the editorial attention about his performance in Girav magazine, he is beyond excited about this collaboration.
“I am happy to be a part of this no-nonsense fall campaign of Girav, and I am very honored with the end result of the content made”, says Cillessen.
Erik de Weerd, co-founder of clothing brand Girav, is very pleased with this collaboration aswell: “What I love about our collaboration is that Jasper has been a customer and sincere fan of Girav for a long time. He is ‘no-nonsense’ and very ambitious at the same time, as we are as a brand”.
Girav was founded in 2010 as a clothing brand for, in the first instance, very tall men. The shirts of Girav are produced close to home in three length-sizes, at the best manufacturers in Europe. The long lifespan, perfect fit and timeless design are the characteristics of this sustainable clothing that is also called ‘slow fashion’.
