Football Shirt Friday at SEG

Remarkable vibes at SEG HQ last Friday. An Ajax fan standing side by side with a Feyenoord supporter? Liverpool shirts next to Manchester United colours? It happened across the SEG headquarters in Amsterdam and our other offices around Europe.

The explanation? Colleagues came into the office wearing the shirt of their favourite club to help raise awareness for bowel cancer. In support of the Bobby Moore Fund and Cancer Research UK, the SEG team proudly joined Football Shirt Friday. With a football added to the mix, it quickly turned into a little keepy-uppy contest.

The Bobby Moore Fund raises money for pioneering bowel cancer research in memory of the late England captain who led his country to their first and only World Cup triumph in 1966. Bobby was just 51 when he passed away from bowel cancer in 1993. Soon after, his widow Stephanie Moore OBE founded the Bobby Moore Fund to increase awareness of the disease. Since then, the fund has raised more than £31 million.

By taking part in Football Shirt Friday, our colleagues showed their commitment to a cause close to many hearts. As a further contribution, SEG made a substantial donation to the fund.
